I attempt to capture the passing moment, light falling, movement, water, all representing constant flux and change, a dynamic world. It is that process of inevitable change, the accumulation of chaotic events, that gives me hope and I would rather use that as my subject matter than the process of destruction.
Visits to neighbouring Mozambique have been inspiring. Here is a country, unlike Zimbabwe, never developed very much in over three hundred years of colonialism - but what there was is now in ruins. However as their economy is rapidly strengthening so people’s hearts are lifting.
